Web Summit takes place from November 11-14, 2024.

Where is Web Summit?

Web Summit 2024 will be held in the MEO Arena and FIL, Rossio dos Olivais, 1990-231 Lisbon, Portugal.

Is there a map of the venue?

The venue map is available inside the Web Summit mobile app.

What security checks will be carried out?

The safety and security of attendees at Web Summit is our primary concern. Security checks will be mandatory when entering venues. These checks will adhere to Lisbon’s security and health protocols during the event.

Is there a place I can leave my bag?

We’re asking attendees not to bring bags to Web Summit. If you must, please note that only small bags are permitted inside the venue. There will be a bag check at main registration where attendees can leave their bags.

Speakers and those with access to the Speaker lounge (MEO Arena) will also have access to a bag check area inside the arena.

Will there be parking at the venue?

We highly recommend using public transport as the fastest way to reach the venue. However, if you prefer to drive, you can secure discounted parking with our partner, Telpark, at conveniently located car parks near the event. Visit https://reserva.telpark.com/ to access these special rates.

Items not allowed at the event

The following items are not allowed at the event. There will be signs displayed at the security and bag drop areas.

1. Knives, firearms or anything that might be considered a weapon
2. Narcotics and illegal substances
3. Laser pens or pointers
4. Any object that can be used as a projectile or weapon
5. Pets, other than service dogs
6. Flares or fireworks
7. Drones or remote flying devices
8. Skateboard, scooters, bikes, hoverboards, or any other personalised motor vehicle other than a wheelchair
9. Sound systems
10. Umbrellas of any size, including personal or pocket-size
11. Hotspot devices other than phones

Can I enter the venue with a camera?

If you plans to film at any of our 2024 events, we require a full itinerary in advance of when and where you intend to film.

In general, exhibition stands, the show floor and open outdoor areas are allowed to be filmed. Filming stages, backstage areas, Lounges, workshop areas or meeting rooms is strictly prohibited.

Will there be wifi available at Web Summit?

Official event wifi will be freely available throughout the MEO Arena. Please do not use personal hotspots, as they will interfere with onsite network connectivity.

Will food be available onsite?

You can find a range of food and beverage options at Web Summit, with food trucks and vendors throughout the venue.

Can I bring my own food to Web Summit?

Yes. You are permitted to bring your own food.

I have special dietary requirements. Will this be catered for?

We have tried to ensure that there are suitable food options available to all attendees, and have worked with the catering suppliers to accommodate a range of dietary requirements, including supplying vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Will the food vendors accept cashless payment?

In order to limit the handling of money during the event, reduce queuing times, and improve health and safety standards, all food and beverage catering units inside the venue will be entirely cashless. Please remember to bring your card with you.

Can I purchase beverages onsite?

You’ll be able to purchase a range of soft drinks, along with water, coffee and tea. There will be two locations where you’ll be able to purchase beer, ready-to-drink cocktails, and mocktails.

Will there be a lost and found?

Yes. Lost and found is located at the Info Point in Pavilion 1.

What are the ticket requirements for children at Web Summit?
