Can I book accommodation with Web Summit?

By Taxi

You can catch a city taxi from most areas in Lisbon, or use ride share apps such as Uber or Bolt. Dedicated drop-off and collection points at the venue will operate on all event days.

Metro

Oriente metro station is roughly 300 metres from the event venue (MEO Arena) and 600 metres from where you’ll register (Pavilhão de Portugal).

If you’re coming from the city, take the green line from Baixa-Chiado station to Alameda station. From there, take the red line to Oriente Station (Estação Oriente).

Alternatively, you can take the blue line from Baixa-Chiado to São Sebastião. From there, you can take the red line to Oriente Station.

By bus

By Web Summit shuttle bus
A dedicated Web Summit shuttle bus service will operate round trips between Oriente (roughly 250 metres from the MEO arena) and Praça do Comércio. This is a regular service provided by Carris.

Safety advice

Pickpockets operate in and around Lisbon, especially on public transport. Keep your personal belongings with you at all times. Avoid carrying or exposing valuable items such as jewellery, laptops, wallets etc. Travel accompanied and wait for public transport in well-lit, busy areas. Do not walk alone at night. In the event of an emergency, call 112.

Discounted transport pass

In partnership with Metropolitano de Lisboa, Web Summit attendees can purchase a discounted transport pass for use on Lisbon’s public transport system. 1, 3 and 5-day passes are available to purchase online or at physical sales points. Parking

We highly recommend using public transport as the fastest way to reach the venue. However, if you prefer to drive, you can secure discounted parking with our partner, Telpark, at conveniently located car parks near the event. Visit https://reserva.telpark.com/ to access these special rates.

Weather

Lisbon often experiences mild temperatures in November however, rain and mixed weather are a possibility. Lots of Web Summit venues are outdoors, including many Night Summit venues. Please bring appropriate clothing and shoes with you. Events will take place in hail, rain or sunshine!
